The Aluminium Alloy 2024 Round Bar is also known as aerospace aluminium bar along with extruded and cold finished aluminium wrought materials. The alloy 2024 round bars facilitate clients’ very good machinability, improved weldability, high-moderate strength, and finest corrosion cracking resistance. Earlier it is called as “aircraft alloy” and has been most famous and popular aluminium alloy used for roll threading and cold heading applications. It is due to excellent fatigue and high strength resistance. Since it has good strength, it has become an excellent part of other bars too. The machinability of aluminium alloy is fine in annealed conditions and heat treatments. The max steels also stock 2024-T4, 2024-T351, and 2024-T3511. All the temper has different elongation, yielding capability, Brinell, and ultimate tensile strength. It is also offered in specifications.
